About Me

I’m a writer disguised as a mild manner housewife. Do I need a cape and tights to combat injustice? I believe that my voice can be more powerful, and the world needs my stories. The mild manner part is questionable, at least to my husband and kids.

I want to tell compelling stories. I observe the micro and imagine the macro. I have wonderful relationships with people of various races, religions and backgrounds. I aspire to promote coexistence through shared experiences of mundane and everyday life.

I live in the metro Detroit area.  I'm a certified teacher (K-8).  I have a B.A. in English and a M.A. in Education from The University of Michigan.
